As we got back into the swing of things, we recapped some of the concepts from before break, and also dove right into a new lesson. We are currently working on possessive nouns, and we continue to read nonfiction text to figure out the text structure. This week, we will also be talking about the spelling bee, which 3rd graders get to participate in for the first time. 4th ELA Last week in 4th grade reading and English, we had a short week, but they were still introduced to new Greek and Latin root words, we practiced prepositions, and we worked hard on editing skills in writing.
